Mid-day meal – recurring expenditure

Total 495 students are studying in Sadhana Vidyalaya. School also comprises of 30 teaching and 20 non teaching staff. Everyday Sadhana Vidyalaya caters healthy and tasty mid-day meals to 545 members and which is free of cost. The costs of grocery, its transportation, labor and other overheads are borne by Sadhana Vidyalaya which sums up to 3.7 Lakhs per month. Breaking the overall cost down to a single child, per-day meal for a child costs about Rs. 25. Each one of your contribution really matters.

Pick-up and drop facility – recurring expenditure

Sadhana Vidyalaya has 9 buses for picking up and dropping all school children from their village. These villages are spread over 25kms of radius from the school. In order to maintain these buses, diesel expenses, driver wages and other related costs, Sadhana Vidyalaya is spending around 3 Lakhs per month. Providing transportation for each child, it costs Rs. 22 average per day. Each one of your contribution really matters.

Compound wall for campus – one time expenditure

Strong compound wall is very essential necessity for any school campus. To provide safety to all school children so that they can enjoy the freedom in secured area, building a compound wall is next immediate project for Sadhana Vidyalaya. It is estimated that the cost for building compound wall for 10 acres campus will be 15 Lakhs. Each one of your contribution really matters.

Hostel facility for Boys and Girls 

It is Guruji’s vision and working in line with this vision of establishing a Gurukul based Residential school, Sadhana Vidyalaya needs a hostel for both girls and boys. For constructing each hostel block the estimated cost is around 50 Lakhs.
